Camp Wakonda

Tiger Cub Safari 2013

This camp are open to ALL newly registered Tiger Cubs in the spring of 2013 and adult partners. This is an open program event with organized activities in program areas around camp. You set the order and schedule of the activities you and your son want to participate in. This is a great opportunity to experience what camp has to offer. Each Cub Scout Overnight is held at the Howard H. Cherry Scout Reservation.

  • Who: Pack 40 new tiger scouts and adult partners
  • Fees:
    • Scouts: $22.50 per scout, due by noon May 24; add $20 late after May 24
      • You will see the scout fee on the registration form is $45 per scout; Pack 40 is paying half of the camp fee, so you only pay $22.50.
    • Adult partners: FREE

Camp Registration Instructions

  1. SIGN UP: Fill out the form below for each scout and adult who will be attending camp.
  2. REGISTRATION FORM: Print and complete the camp registration form for each scout: <Tiger Cub Safari Registration.pdf>
  3. HEALTH FORM: Download, complete and print a BSA Health & Medical Form - Parts A & B for each person attending camp - both scouts and adults. A copy of the participant's health insurance card - both sides - is required with the health form.
  4. YOUTH PROTECTION (adults only): If you have not already, please go to and complete cub scout youth protection training. It is a video with questions and answers throughout; it should take less than 30 minutes to complete. First time users to will need to create an account. If you are not a registered leader with Pack 40, be sure to print a copy of your completion certificate at the end of the training and include a copy with your registration materials.
  5. FEES: Camp fees are calculated in the roster spreadsheet above. Please write a check for the total amount to "Cub Scouts Pack 40"; the cancelled check is your receipt.
  6. TURN IN: Collect ALL forms (registration form, health forms with copy of insurance card, youth protection certificate) and your check for the fees, and turn in to Lori Jiacinto by NOON on the given deadline date.
